This is the question we get most often. The answer depends on your situation, not your mood. A Class II medical dressing is not an upgraded sheet mask — it is an adjunct for wounds and compromised skin, not a daily hydrating treat.
Three scenarios, three frequencies
1. Healthy skin, routine care — daily use is unnecessary. Over-masking can cause excessive stratum corneum hydration and reduce tolerance. Two to three times a week is enough; seal with a moisturiser afterwards.
2. Post-procedure or wound healing — follow your clinician or the instructions for use. The dressing supports a moist healing environment; dosage and frequency should be set professionally.
3. Acute flare-ups (redness, stinging, peeling) — see a doctor first. A dressing is supportive, not a treatment. Use must stay within the indications stated on the registration certificate.
Common mistakes
- Leaving it on longer is not better — 15–20 minutes is typical; a drying sheet draws moisture back out.
- Check the IFU on whether to rinse after removal.
- "Medical grade can be used daily, cosmetic grade cannot" is false. The criterion is skin condition and intended use, not the product class.
