After aesthetic procedures (laser, microneedling, mesotherapy), the skin barrier is in a vulnerable window. The goal is minimal irritation, a supportive environment, no added burden - which is where Class II dressings earn their place.
Why dressings are used post-procedure
A Class II medical dressing is designed to provide a moist, low-infection healing environment for wounds and compromised skin, not daily hydration. Unlike a sheet mask, it is restrained and simple, not chasing instant wow.
VIRIBIO dressings in this phase
VIRIBIO has two Class II devices: Medical Recombinant Type III Humanised Collagen Dressing and Medical Sodium Hyaluronate Repair Dressing. Their indications follow the registration certificate - read it and the leaflet, do not extend use on your own.
Post-procedure rhythm
- Immediately after: follow the operator or leaflet; the dressing is supportive, not a treatment; see a doctor for anything abnormal.
- Recovery (~1 week): repair, moisturise, sun protection; pause all strong actives (acids, retinol, high-strength brightening).
- Maintenance: once stable, return to daily care in the normal order.
Three reminders: a device dressing is not a premium mask - healthy skin needs it only 2-3 times a week; 15-20 minutes is enough; stop and see a doctor if stinging or redness worsens. VIRIBIO products are cosmetic or Class II devices - never inject.
